Welcome to Tech Defense Phone Repair. By using our website or submitting any device for repair—including but not limited to smartphones, tablets, laptops, gaming consoles, and other electronics—you agree to the following Terms of Service.
Disclaimers
Tech Defense Phone Repair provides repair services for a wide range of electronic devices. All services are performed on an “as-is” and “as-available” basis.
Due to the complex nature of electronics repair—especially for devices with liquid damage, motherboard issues, prior repair attempts, or manufacturer defects—we do not guarantee that all problems can be identified or fully resolved.
Customers acknowledge that repair attempts may result in:
- Partial or complete device failure
- Loss of functionality
- Additional issues not previously detected
By proceeding with service, you accept these risks.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tech Defense Phone Repair shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including but not limited to:
- Loss of data
- Loss of revenue or business
- Device downtime
Our total liability for any claim is limited strictly to the amount paid for the specific repair service.
Data & Backup Responsibility
Customers are solely responsible for backing up all data prior to repair.
Tech Defense Phone Repair is not responsible for:
- Data loss
- Data corruption
- Security or privacy issues
Repairs may require resetting, disconnecting, or replacing components, which can result in permanent data loss.
Device Condition & Repair Risks
By submitting a device, you acknowledge:
- The device may have hidden or pre-existing issues
- Internal components may be fragile or previously damaged
- Repair attempts may worsen the condition in some cases
Tech Defense Phone Repair is not liable for failures caused by underlying conditions or structural weaknesses in the device.
Parts & Compatibility
We may use OEM or high-quality aftermarket parts depending on availability.
Customers understand:
- Aftermarket parts may differ slightly in performance or appearance
- Some features (e.g., Face ID, fingerprint sensors, True Tone, etc.) may be affected depending on the repair
- Compatibility issues may arise with certain models or prior repairs
Warranty Policy
Any warranty provided applies only to the specific parts and labor performed.
Warranty does not cover:
- Physical or accidental damage
- Liquid damage
- Misuse or neglect
- Software-related issues
- Issues unrelated to the original repair
Warranty is void if the device is opened or repaired by another party after service.
Unrepairable Devices
In some cases, devices may be deemed beyond repair. Diagnostic fees may still apply for time and labor spent attempting repair.
Abandoned Devices
Devices not picked up within 30 days after notification will be considered abandoned.
Tech Defense Phone Repair reserves the right to:
- Charge storage fees
- Sell or recycle the device to recover costs
(Where permitted by law)
Payments
- Full payment is required upon completion of service
- Devices will not be released until paid in full
- Deposits may be required for certain repairs
Customer Authorization
By submitting a device, you confirm that:
- You are the legal owner or authorized user
- You have permission to request repair services
- The device is not stolen or involved in illegal activity
Copyright & Data Responsibility
Tech Defense Phone Repair does not access, store, or distribute customer data except as necessary for repair.
We are not responsible for:
- Personal files
- Licensed software
- Copyrighted content on devices
Changes to Terms
These Terms of Service may be updated at any time without prior notice. Continued use of our services constitutes acceptance of any changes.
